        <![CDATA[ The good news is that when I called my son last night for his thirtieth birthday, he informed me that I have a grandson.


The bad news is that my grandson is two months old and no one in my family even thought to tell me that my daughter-in-law was pregnant.  They&#39;ve all known
for close to eleven months, but no one even mentioned it to me in passing.

			<description><![CDATA[ My beef isn&#39;t with my son. It&#39;s with my father and my aunt. They had every opportunity to give me a hint of what was going on, but consciously chose
not to.

At the moment, I can&#39;t afford the gas money or the time off to go visit, and I&#39;m not sure my son would want me to anyway. The reason I hadn&#39;t
called him in so long is that he is not comfortable around me. This is also the reason I am hesitant to visit him.
